Britannica Studio is designed to prioritise and rely on trusted Britannica content, but there are a few exceptions:
- When you provide your own text to use as the source (for example, in the Summarise It, Level It, or Assess It tool), the materials are based on what you enter, not Britannica content.
- Vocabulary Builder includes definitions from The Merriam-Webster Dictionary when appropriate. It may also use AI-generated example sentences and part-of-speech labels that are not sourced from Britannica.
In all other cases, when you’re using a topic-based input, Studio is designed to ground its output in Britannica content. We work hard to ensure accuracy, but as with any AI tool, there may be rare instances when content goes beyond the intended source material.
